Traditional Kids Room Design – Our children spend most of their time in their own room, either playing games or studying, watching cartoons, etc. Therefore, it is very important that our kids’ room should be based on their likes, dislikes and choices. The most important step in deciding for the decoration of your kids’ room, talk to them to get a clear idea of their preferences, colors, likes, hobbies, etc. this will help in carving a perfect room for your kids.
For wall painting, go for colors that are bright. The age-old therapy of using blue for boys and pink for girls still works. So, if you lack a creative blend of mind, go for applying this therapy without a doubt. Other colors that work wonders in kids’ room are rust, sea green, indigo, combination of white and blue, etc. As for room ceiling, if you can afford a false ceiling or a POP, nothing like it. Try realistic imagery on the ceiling, such as sky with stars, the solar system, some “Cinderella” or “Aladdin” fairy tale scene. This will help your kid to enjoy his/her time in the room and give you some free space to talk and spend time with your spouse.
